Booking
Ponders Travel Ltd are members of ABTA (number L6987) and we are obliged to maintain a high standard of service to our customers by ABTA’s Code of Conduct. Further information on the Code can be found at www.abta.com Ponders Travel Ltd acts as retail agents for ATOL protected (Air Travel Organizers Licence) operators. All bookings accepted by us are subject to the relevant suppliers’ terms and conditions. The suppliers are the cruise operators, airlines, car hire company, travel related ancillary sales companies (such as transfers, excursions, airport lounges etc) and hotel wholesalers responsible for providing services to you the consumer. Details of suppliers ‘terms and conditions’ can be located in their current published brochures or on the supplier’s specific websites. ‘Offers’ are all subject to availability at the time of booking and can be withdrawn at any time without prior notice. Please note that if any discount is offered it applies to the basic cruise/holiday package price unless otherwise specified. This excludes all extras such as flight supplements, port taxes, excursions, surcharges and amendment or cancellation charges. Our discounts may not be used in conjunction with any other supplier promotion or discounted offer unless otherwise specified.
Cancellation & amendments
Any booking cancellation must be confirmed in writing to Ponders Travel Ltd. If you need to cancel your booking you will be charged a fee of £100 per booking payable to Ponders Travel Ltd along with any additional charges in accordance with the supplier’s specific booking terms and conditions. Upon receipt of a cancellation we will contact the relevant cruise/holiday operator or supplier to ascertain any relevant charges that you will be liable for. Ponders Travel Ltd reserve the right to charge an administration fee of £100 per booking for an amendment to a booking and a further amount of £100 per change if there are several requests to change the same booking or if the amendments are very time consuming. This is in addition to any supplier charges for amendments.
Insurance
Ponders Travel Ltd strongly advises you to purchase comprehensive travel insurance and it’s your responsibility to source and book travel insurance relevant to your holiday. We are unable to sell travel insurance ourselves, but you can find a travel insurance comparison site on our website under holiday essentials.
Your Responsibilities
Passport, Visa and health requirements can change from time to time, it is therefore your own responsibility to ensure that you inform yourself on and comply with any requirements. Please note passports must be valid for at least six months after your return date of travel. Ponders Travel Ltd will not be held responsible in any circumstances for the consequences, financial or otherwise of any failure on the part of the passenger in this respect. We would strongly recommend that you visit the Foreign and Commonwealth Office website for advice (www.fco.ov.uk) You must also inform us prior to booking of any medical condition or disability that could affect your ability to complete your travel arrangements. It is your responsibility to check that the details of your booking confirmation are correct. It is important to notify us immediately if there are any inaccuracies on by email at [email protected] or by phone on 01954 232802 as any changes after the booking is made will incur an amendment fee as stated above. Ponders Travel Ltd will not be liable for the acts and omissions of suppliers. Any disputes shall be subject to English law and the jurisdiction of English courts.
